Imrie Five Energy Resources Limited, was established in 2015 as part of an initiative by the President to promote Trinidadian-owned companies in the well services sector. Imrie Five Energy Resources partnered with Halliburton Worldwide Ltd., signing a Technical Services Agreement in 2015.

This partnership led to the successful commencement of a major PDO Pumping Services contract, hailed as an "innovative solution" and a landmark in the development of independent, Trinidadian-owned well service companies. Between 2015 and 2018, Imrie Five Energy Resources worked closely with Halliburton, providing well site services to international standards while developing its local strengths.

Imrie Five Energy Resources diversified its services, securing PDO contracts for Drill Stem Testing (2015) and Exploration Well Testing (2016). By 2017, Imrie Five Energy Resources had matured sufficiently to restructure its business model, acquiring Halliburton's well testing business in Trinidad & Tobago to become a 100% Trinidadian-owned stand-alone company.

Imrie Five Energy Resources Limited has since maintained an exemplary safety record, completing a 7-year well testing contract with PDO in 2019 and securing a new 5-year contract with an expanded scope of services. The company has tested 962 wells in Trinidad & Tobago under severe conditions, operating multiple well test units and camps.

Today, Imrie Five Energy Resources Limited continues to provide specialized oilfield services, building on its legacy of innovation, safety, and excellence.
